Ok it's been almost a year since I last blogged...the reason...I didn't do anything for the past year...except grow a BABY! Joseph Paul Marcum was born March 9, 2012. He is such a GOOD baby (finally!!) and such a joy! Now that I'm feeling like myself again...aka...I can shower, do dishes, and even sweep all in the same day without huffing and puffing or puking!..I plan to blog and catch up. I'm not sure anyone reads this but it is my journal/scrapbook. :)
We just started up a new school year at a new school and in a new house! It has been quite the eventful year! We built a home in Georgetown and moved in June 29. My parents even came from Las Vegas and stayed almost 3 weeks to help us finish the basement. What an enormous sacrifice and blessing! We love love love our new home and feel so very blessed!

The kids are now at Western Elementary. Sarah is in 3rd grade and has Mrs. Livingston. Jacob is in 2nd grade and has Mrs. Mullins. Joshua started KINDERGARTEN and has Mrs. McClintock and Mrs. Marcum (no not me). They all excitedly got on the bus without even a look back. They are so excited they get to ride the bus. I was sad to see Josh off...but it is only half day and is home at 11:00, so I still get lunch and cuddle time with my sweetie pie.
We had a great summer. We made a list of fun things we wanted to do. Some of the things included:
- Fed the ducks
- Bluegrass Fair
- Friday night Flicks
- Kings Island
- Pool Days
- Trip to Georgia
- Visit from Uncle Troy & Aunt Amy
- Free Movies
- Park
- Sleepovers
Now we are back into full swing school, piano lessons, soccer practice and games, scouts, activity days, homework, chores, etc. It is busy but happy. The kids make us laugh everyday. We are enjoying every moment!
