Things I learned the hard way...all happened this Wednesday!

• Hand sanitizer takes the finish off your piano
• Sidewalk chalk comes off walls easily with a wet rag
• Never leave your water jug next to hand sanitzer and a curious 3 year old...Sarah squirted it down my straw for a tasty treat!

Mommy Moments - 6/23

Recently I've had fun experiences learning how to handle 3 kids. Enjoy!

• Jacob ran into the mens room when I was helping Sarah go potty at the movies.
• I was helping Sarah get a drink and found Jacob had "fed" the baby jello-it was all over!
• Sarah smelt something and asked if I "was poopy" and checked me by looking down my pants.
• Sarah got her princess dress out of time-out by finally going poopy on the potty and jumps up and down yelling, "I did it, I did it, I did it!!" every time now.
• We got new cell phones because Jacob was found dipping mine in the toilet.
• Sarah jammed 4 pennies in the air conditioner control of our new van, costing only $150 to fix.

flower power!

yesterday, we went to my uncle david's house for dinner. the kids had a blast playing together. in fact, we got a glimpse at just how "free" of a spirit sarah is. when she came down the stairs dressed like she is in the picture, I immediately thought, "man she looks like a hippy!" the picture at right is (left to right) matt, jacob, hope and sarah. since sarah's birth she has never liked to be restrained, we can only hope to keep her spirit mildly bridled :)

preparing for the bar isn't very much fun at all! we're still adjusting to the new schedule of having three children at home and preparing for the self-proclaimed (and i believe it!) worst exam anyone could ever take. anywho... amber took this picture of josh the other day and i think it captures how i feel.

joshua troy marcum has arrived. he was born on may 24, 2007 @ 2:44 pm. he weighed 6 lbs 5 oz and was 19 1/4". all are doing well. as you can see from the pictures, sarah and jacob love their little brother very much!
